Accessories – Insulation

Rarely are two applications the same. If your building envelope requires insulating Metal Roofing and Cladding are there to help advise and supply a comprehensive range of insulation types, densities and thicknesses. The most common are glasswool quilt (full lambda range, 0.032-0.040W/mK), mineralwool (dense and quilt) and PIR (with and without foil backing).

Over and above thermal requirements Metal Roofing and Cladding can supply you with acoustic insulations, design primarily to provide sound absorption, thus reducing sound reverberation within the internal space. This is commonplace in sound-sensitive environments such as sports halls, swimming pools, schools, theatres cinemas etc.
